Movement through a divided city

The Three Bridges

Three crossings bind Lysara together, but each carries a different kind of traffic. Their limits create routes, delays and natural points of pressure.

Illustrated movement guide. The three crossings and their functions follow the approved city map; surrounding architectural detail is interpretive.
1

Highbridge

The elegant northern crossing favours pedestrians and lighter loads. It cannot absorb the cart capacity of the routes below.

2

Market Bridge

The broad principal crossing carries mixed traffic and the main western road toward the rising eastern city.

3

Docks Bridge

The heavier southern crossing works closest to barges, warehouse yards, porters and freight movement.
